yeah same thing happens to mine, if it rains hard enough, the picture goes all screwy...quite fun unless you really wanna watch something at the time lol

All quoted speeds are theoretical - they depend on contention and other traffic. Plus at the end of the day the source server for the material (8mbps doesnt help pulling off your mate's msn with his 200kbps upload ;))


ah but if your mate gets max as well he could be uploading any where from 400k to 832kbps :o

or in my case 1.3mbs, which would then be limited by your download :P

If you're in a BT area you should consider www.bulldogbroadband.com! Up to 16 Meg connections at fair prices! 8-)

Shame i aint in an area that accepts it otherwise id have 16 meg! :cry:

bethere is slightly cheaper :P £24 a month for upto* 24mbit + 1.3mbit upload, you also can stay on bt for calls which you can't do with bulldog
and you can get 1 months free using a referal at signup (elydaniel@hotmail.com if ay one wants to enter it ;) )

but it's only around london atm
